Attended International Orthoptic Association (IOA) Orthoptic fellowship program (conducted by President IOA, Karen McMain and other orthoptists from Canada and US)
Has worked as an orthoptist cum optometrist and clinical tutor for optometry students in THONEH from 2014 to 2017
Has worked closely with pediatric ophthalmologists to examine visual defects, injury, and aid in the diagnosis of visual system dysfunctions involving vision, eye movement, eye alignment and binocularity.
Able to perform series of tests for assessment of vision, focusing ability, binocular functions and eye movement in children of all ages (including babies age of 6 month old), and adult as well.
As an Orthoptist, she specializes on the non-surgical treatment of amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (squint/ crooked eye).
Able to converse in English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka.
