• Earned Masters in Ophthalmology in 2004 with sub-speciality training in vitreoretina, glaucoma and cornea in Hospital Seremban and Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
• Resident doctor in Hospital UKM since 2000.
• Expert in phaco-emulsification (phaco) with foldable lens implantation that makes a small incision on the cornea without stitches.
• Won numerous awards for researches in Ophthalmology in Hospital UKM.
• An active member of the Ophthalmological Society of Malaysian Medical Association.
